Welcome to Tanstan, a platform that empowers content creators to build learning communities and offer structured, subscription-based courses.

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using Tanstan. These Terms apply to all users of our website, mobile applications, services, and any associated content or features (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using Tanstan, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. Definitions

  • “Tanstan” refers to Tanstan Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our”).
  • “Creator” refers to users who offer paid content, courses, or manage communities.
  • “Subscriber” refers to users who pay to access a Creator’s community or courses.
  • “User” refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform.
  • “Content” means any material, including text, images, video, audio, and course content, posted or uploaded to the Platform.

2. Eligibility

To use Tanstan, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country),
  • If under 18, have the consent of a parent or legal guardian,
  • Have the authority to enter into binding agreements.

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information,
  • Keep your login credentials secure,
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Platform Use and Community Rules

You agree to use the Platform in accordance with:

5. Creator Earnings and Fees

  • Creators may monetize their content by offering paid subscriptions.
  • Tanstan collects a 11% platform fee from each Creator’s total earnings for each payout period.
  • Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe), and their terms apply.
  • Earnings are disbursed on a recurring schedule (e.g., monthly) subject to processing time and eligibility.

6. Subscriber Payments and Access

  • Subscribers pay Creators through Tanstan to access their communities and course content.
  • Payments are recurring unless canceled by the Subscriber.
  • Refunds are not guaranteed and are granted only at Tanstan’s sole discretion or if required by law.
  • Access may be revoked if payment fails or the Creator’s account is suspended.

7. Content Ownership

  • Creators retain ownership of all content they create and post.
  • Subscribers receive a limited, non-transferable license to access content they’ve paid for.
  • Tanstan may use publicly available content (e.g., course titles, community names) for promotion and marketing purposes.

You grant Tanstan a limited, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute your content solely to operate the Platform.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Post illegal, abusive, or infringing content,
  • Circumvent our payment or revenue sharing system,
  • Use bots or automated systems to scrape, hack, or disrupt the platform,
  • Harass or impersonate other users.

9. Intellectual Property

All Tanstan trademarks, logos, and software are the property of Tanstan Inc. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the Platform without written permission.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or our policies. You may also cancel your account at any time.

Termination may result in the loss of access to content, subscriptions, and earnings, as applicable.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that:

  • The platform will be uninterrupted or error-free,
  • Content will be accurate or complete,
  • Loss or damage will not occur.

Use the platform at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tanstan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or use.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us in the previous 3 months.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Tanstan harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

  • Your content,
  • Your violation of these Terms or applicable law,
  • Your interactions with other users.

14. Governing Law
